Terry S. Zobeck, Ph.D., is Associate Director for Research/Data Analysis at the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), Executive Office of the President. During his 15 years with ONDCP, he has advised the Director on research and evaluation issues in support of the National Drug Control Strategy, overseen the agency's policy research program, and coordinated with federal interagency partners to ensure that the Strategy's research and data collection objectives were met. Current projects supervised by Dr. Zobeck include the evaluation of the Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign and the Arrestee Drug Abuse Monitoring II Program. Before coming to ONDCP, Dr. Zobeck was a contractor conducting substance abuse research-including work on alcohol-involved traffic crashes-for Federal clients including ONDCP, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Dr. Zobeck earned doctorate and master's degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
