Farhad Asghar serves as Associate Dean of Continuing Education at Bank Street College. Prior to that he was Director of Liberty LEADS, a highly successful college access/dropout prevention program. Before coming to Bank Street, he taught in a Brooklyn public high school and was a staff member at a Queens-based afterschool organization. He has been profiled in the New York Daily News for his work with underserved inner-city youth. He received a bachelor's in English literature/secondary education from Brooklyn College and an MPA in nonprofit management from the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
